Amar is a consultant with the energy deals strategy practice of PwC | Strategy&. Prior to PwC, he was an Associate in the energy group of Guggenheim Partners in New York, and a strategy consultant with PacWest Consulting Partners in Houston. Amar started his career in non-profit work with the Baha’i International Community at the U.N., and has volunteered with other high school mentor programs such as iMentor. Amar holds a dual M.S. degree in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines and Petroleum Economics from the French Institute of Petroleum, and received his B.A. degree in Engineering from Lafayette College.
Aaron has always had a desire to help people in many capacities. His familiarity with numbers and understanding of the emotional aspects of financial decisions drew him into the financial services industry. Aaron attended Texas A&M University where he obtained his undergraduate degree and subsequently completed an MBA specializing in Personal Financial Planning from City University of Seattle. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and a Behavioral Financial Advisor™. With a desire to help in a broader capacity and because of a passion for education, Aaron joined Minds Matter as an executive board member. Aaron is in his 16th year in financial services and currently serves as Managing Director of and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® for LifeBridge Financial Group. Aaron and his wife, Heather, reside in Richmond, TX with their children Reid, Ansley, and Kamryn. They also enjoy their Australian Shepherd, Oliver, five chickens, five salt-water fish and on occasion even a pig.
Based in Houston, Texas, Mile is a Principal in Deals Strategy, where he helps energy companies discover and execute deal opportunities. He’s also a parent and has a passion for learning, teaching and volunteering. Along with his involvement in Minds Matter, Mile facilitates learning and development for his team at PwC, “I believe that the best way to influence people is directly and on an individual basis. Creating a meaningful personal experience for one person will have a network effect as that person does the same for another person and so on. I have a real passion for enabling learning and helping people reach their full potential.” Mile attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania for his MBA.
Although a product of independent schooling, both as a student (Laurel School alumna) and an English teacher (The Kinkaid and Awty International Schools), Michelle recognizes the critical importance of organizations like MMH. Having originally volunteered as an MMH instructor in Writing and Critical Thinking, Michelle joined the Board when she and her husband relocated to Maine. Her own educational background includes a BA in Comparative Literature (French and Russian) from Hiram College and an MBA in Taxation and Accountancy and an MA in British and American Literature from the University of Houston. When she isn’t taking courses at the Coastal Senior College, reading, or gardening, Michelle also volunteers at Pope Memorial Humane Society.

Chris Pecci is an IT Manager for Chevron with a passion for technology and education. His desire and commitment to help aspiring college students achieve their academic and career goals drew him to the Minds Matter Houston programming team. Chris has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a M.B.A. from Alaska Pacific University.

Ben is an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore. Prior to Evercore, he was an Senior M&A Analyst at Halliburton. Prior to Halliburton, Ben received his MS in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He also received his BA in Economics at The University of Texas. His experiences working with Neighborhood Longhorns, RBI Austin, and Side by Side Kids has prepared him for his role with Minds Matter Houston.
