Sophomores

Our sophomores are a determined bunch. This year, they honed their writing skills to craft compelling personal statements, and geared up for the PSAT.

Beyond academics, their growth was truly impressive. Mentoring sessions focused on goal setting and college ownership. One session stands out: the first conversation about college research. Uncertainty about affording dream schools hung heavy. We began by breaking down common worries, both current and from past mentors. This open discussion sparked a deeper understanding of financial aid and scholarships.

Our most memorable moment came after honing presentation skills. Watching these sophomores confidently deliver their presentations to the entire cohort was a moment of pure pride. Their growth in confidence and public speaking was simply remarkable!
