How to Apply
Interested students and families are encouraged to apply in the incoming summer and August of their 10th grade year. The application deadline for the 2023–24 cohort will be announced in Summer 2023.

Incoming students are required in August of their 10th-grade year to submit an application consisting of short answer questions, writing samples, recommendation and nomination forms (see below!), and a guardian application.

Following the submission of their applications, qualified applicants will be asked to interview with Minds Matter of Houston's Student Recruitment Team to gauge interest and assess commitment to the program.

The selection process is highly competitive and results in a pool of dedicated and talented young adults. Applicants will be notified of their admissions decision in the week following their interviews.
