Marketing & Communications Lead

Reports to: Director of Operations

Team: Operations Team

Time Commitment: 5 hrs per week

Summary & Responsibilities

The Marketing and Communications Lead is responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s marketing and communications strategies, with a focus on external audiences. strategies, communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Responsibilities include: 

  • Providing editorial direction, design, production, and distribution of all internal and external publications, including digital newsletters and weekly announcements

  • Overseeing the development of marketing collateral and graphics for Development and Recruitment teams

  • Providing brand strategy expertise and maintaining brand standards across chapter

  • Coordinating social media schedules and content (and delegating as needed)

  • Updating website content as needed

  • Photographing sessions and events as needed

  • Have great organizational and time management skills

  • Demonstrate accountability and ownership, proactive leadership, and a desire to contribute to a high-performing team
