Marketing & Communications Lead
Type: Support Volunteer
Reports to: Director of Operations
Team: Operations Team
Time Commitment: 5 hrs per week
Summary & Responsibilities
The Marketing and Communications Lead is responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s marketing and communications strategies, with a focus on external audiences. strategies, communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Responsibilities include:
Providing editorial direction, design, production, and distribution of all internal and external publications, including digital newsletters and weekly announcements
Overseeing the development of marketing collateral and graphics for Development and Recruitment teams
Providing brand strategy expertise and maintaining brand standards across chapter
Coordinating social media schedules and content (and delegating as needed)
Updating website content as needed
Photographing sessions and events as needed

Have experience with communications and marketing (a focus on non-profits is a plus!)

Demonstrate accountability and ownership, proactive leadership, and a desire to contribute to a high-performing team
